GSdx is the most well-known graphics (GS) plugin for PCSX2, dating back to 2007 and initially developed by Gabest. GSdx is able to use both Direct3D10/11 and OpenGL APIs. It also can switch between hardware and software rendering. Some of many of the impressive features of GSdx are high resolution rendering, anti-aliasing, texture filtering. If the same issue occurs, change the GS plugin from SSE4.1 to SSE2. If the issue persists, your PC may be severely outdated and we recommend asking for help on the PCSX2 Forums. Mipmapping issues in Hardware Mode
- Status:Active
- Type: Minor
- Description: Broken textures at a distance.
- Workaround: Go to Config > Video (GS) > Plugin Settings, and set mipmapping to at least 'Basic'.
For a full solution switch to Software mode by setting Renderer to any of the '(Software)' options.

1. To download and put together PS2 roms
- Run 7zip setup[/INDENT]
- Download parts [001, 002,003.] and put them into a folde
- Extract the First Part '7z.001' anywhere or into the folder

- What I do is make a 'PS2 Rom' folder and put that folder into the emulator folder.
- If your going to put it on a DVD disc you would need the 'sfv' file
2. To choose a game go to Boot > Select CDVD source > Iso Browser. and choose a PS2 Rom
3. To start a game go to Boot > Run CDVD
